In the mid-1990s most of the major car manufacturers had a ‘proper 4x4’ in their range, rather than the smoothed-off, ‘soft roaders’ that now predominate. For a few years, Vauxhall produced an excellent magazine ‘Off Road Spirit’ for their Frontera Owners Club members. The club, magazine and the car are all now long gone, and the links below are to some rather poor scans of some of my contributions.
