We Are Feminists

Hodology is a feminist organisation. This means we make it our business to acknowledge and address the imbalances created by patriarchy — a system where a narrow range of perspectives, voices, and interests are often prioritised.

We believe gender expectations are harmful to everyone.

Rigid roles and expectations that confine people, regardless of gender, limit our individuality, freedom to express ourselves, and ability to embrace the full spectrum of our human experiences.​

Being a feminist organisation also involves embracing and promoting the values and principles of feminism throughout the organisation's culture, practices, and policies.

We do this by actively creating and enforcing policies that promote diversity and inclusivity. This includes flexible work schedules, equitable hiring practices, parental leave policies, and support for individuals facing harassment or discrimination. Where possible, we will prioritise collaborating with organisations and individuals that share our values.
